Specifications include, but are not limited to: -Repair / replace the beacon on Antelope Island. Includes: - Removing and replacing assembly wiring, charge controller, disconnect and enclosures with a single enclosure that includes electrical breakers rather than fuses for ease of system control/repairs. - New PWM charge controller. - Repair the conduit break to strobe. - Clean and repair battery box. - New solar modules and a new MPPT charge controller to provide significantly more power to maintain the battery during long winter nights. - Relocate the existing battery, concrete pad, and steel protection to the corner of the fenced area. - Replace the battery. - Move equipment to ground level for ease of maintaining the strobe light.
