Specifications include, but are not limited to: Utah Communications Authority is seeking a communications site in North Salt Lake, Utah complete with 100’ tower and equipment shelter. • UCA is requesting a 100’ tower with the available loading: • UCA will require at a minimum of 6, 7’ equipment racks in the shelter to house our various backhaul and radio equipment. • Shelter and tower must be secured behind an anti climb fencing system with locking gate. • Tower must be equipped with safe climb apparatus. • UCA requires that the shelter be secured with a locking apparatus, is weather tight and rodent proof. UCA requires a minimum of a 40KW backup generator, 500 gallon propane or diesel tank, dual 1 to 2 ton minimum HCAV AC units wired in a lead-lag configuration. Shelter must have adequate entry ports to accommodate multiple EW-63 or EW-90 waveguide runs, and multiple ½” to 1-7/8” Heliax or similar feed lines. • UCA requires a single phase 200 Amp, 120-240 V commercial power service. • UCA requires 24x7 access to the site and the road to be reasonably accessible by 4x4 vehicle with the exception of winter months where access would be done by snowcat or other means.
