Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contracted agency shall develop and produce media and social marketing campaigns for the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program (TPCP) at the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) that use an integrated approach to health promotion, publi c service, awareness - building, and communication strategy. These campaigns should address the following TPCP Strategic Plan goals: 1. Increase rates of quit attempts and long -term abstinence among Utahns who use tobacco or nicotine products by way of the Utah Tobacco Quitline. 2. Promote health equity and reduce the risk for tobacco -related diseases and death among priority populations. 3. Prevent y outh and young adults from starting to smoke, vape, or use other nicotine products. 4. Increase quitting rates among Utahns who use tobacco or nicotine products. 5. Reduce exposure to second -hand smoke and second -hand vapors aerosol. Approximately $2,500,000 annually for 5 fiscal years (2024 to 2028) is available for the contract; however, this amount may vary and is dependent on availability of funds each year. All materials, including original design files or coding, stock media, raw photos or footage, cop y, concepts, etc. developed for the campaign will be owned by the DHHS. Additionally, TPCP and DHHS shall maintain control and direction over the scope of work being performed under this contract.
