Parking lot Lighting Installation at Storm Mountain Park, 11400 S. 1000 E. in Sandy, Utah All work shall comply with: Sandy City Standard Specifications and Details National Electrical Code (NEC) Utah State Building and Electrical Codes Dark Sky compliance standards (e.g., International Dark-Sky Association guidelines) Contractors must be licensed in the State of Utah and provide proof of insurance. (See Exhibit A) Design and Engineering Contractor shall provide a complete lighting design package including: Site layout with proposed pole and fixture locations Photometric analysis demonstrating uniform light distribution and minimal glare Electrical load calculations and panel integration Compliance documentation for Dark Sky standards Design must be submitted for review and approval prior to procurement or installation. Materials & Equipment Fixtures shall be LED, full cutoff, shielded, and Dark Sky compliant (4000K - 4200K or lower color temperature) Poles shall be powder-coated steel or aluminum, with concrete bases All conduit, wiring, and electrical components shall meet NEC standards Lighting controls shall include programmable timers or smart sensors for energy efficiency Installation Scope Excavate and install concrete foundations for light poles Install underground conduit and electrical wiring Mount and secure poles and fixtures per approved design Connect to existing electrical service or install new service panel if required Ensure proper grounding, surge protection, and code-compliant connections Testing & Commissioning Perform functional testing of all fixtures and controls Verify compliance with photometric plan and Dark Sky standards Submit final inspection reports Site Restoration Remove all construction debris and restore any disturbed landscaping or pavement Ensure the site is clean, safe and fully accessible upon project completion
