Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Grading: An overall grading of the site to be completed by others prior to beginning on the landscape installation. Bid to include final grading which ensures proper drainage and readies the project area for plant and grass installation. 2. Walkway Installations: All sidewalk will be installed by others prior to installation of landscaping and are not part of this scope of work. 3. Compacted Chat This bid should include all installation of compacted chat . See chat cross-section exhibit for installation detail. 4. Irrigation System: Install complete irrigation system as outline in the attached landscape irrigation & planting plans. Please note redline modifications on plans to be included in the bid. A dedicated 1” water lateral has been installed for the irrigation system. 1.5” sleeves will be under each sidewalk providing ample access for irrigation lines. 5. Plant & Turf Installation: Bid should include installation all plants, groundcover, edging, compacted chat, and turf (sod) called out of the planting and irrigation plan within the designated project area. 6. Concrete Bench Installation: See Stone Hill Park Bench Exhibit for details on benches to be installed in park. See Landscape plan for number of benches and approximate locations. Benches to be poured in place, to be smooth surface with rounded corners. Benches should also be sealed with a 10-year warranty anti-graffiti sealer. 7. Commercial Bicycle Rack: Installation of 5-loop wavy style, heavy duty, galvanized bike rack with 7 bike capacity. See landscape plans for location. 8. Fencing: All fencing and mow curbs completed by others prior to beginning landscaping and are not part of this scope of work. 9. Infrastructure Protection: Protect City sidewalk, drive approach, curb/gutter and street fence by means acceptable to Ogden City Engineering. Landscaper / Contractor will be liable for any damage to public property. Landscaper / Contractor responsible for replacing any sidewalks, shared driveways, drive approaches, and curb and gutter damaged during the course of the project. 10. SWPPP / Dust Control: Work methods must include a means of controlling dust generated on site. Landscaper / Contractor responsible for installing and maintaining all SWPP BMP’s including silt fencing, track-out pad, catch basin protection, etc. 11. Traffic Control: Landscaper / Contractor responsible for designing and obtaining approval for any traffic control through Ogden City Engineering department, measures required and necessary during the project.
