Specifications include, but are not limited to: Instructure makes both the Canvas LMS and Pace Plans. Pace Plans is a tool that allows instructors to create individual pacing for students enrolled in their courses. Instead of having assignments due for all students at a certain day and time, Pace Plans allows individual students to have unique due dates based on when the instructor determines assignments should be completed based on when the student enrolls in the course. This product has great potential for students enrolled in Competency Based Education courses and students enrolled in Concurrent Enrollment courses. This must integrate with Canvas. Instructure protects the rights to its coding for due dates, syllabus tool, and calendaring. Since Pace Plans integrates with Instructure’s Canvas, there is no modification to the system that will allow for competition.
