This project maintains native surface roads on the Missoula, Ninemile and Seeley Ranger Districts of the Lolo National Forest. Road maintenance blading utilizes a motorized grader machine to perform fine grading operations, or “blading”, on unpaved forest roads. Blading includes cutting, blending, spreading, reshaping, finishing, and compacting. Surface maintenance also includes drainage maintenance, ditch pulling or heeling, removal of slough/slide material, debris removal, and blow-down removal.
The purpose of this solicitation is for Road Blading Services at Lolo NF. The Government may award one or multiple contracts from this solicitation. Vendors may offer on one or multiple locations (Ranger Districts). Vendors shall state, in their quote, the maximum number of Districts they would be willing to accept award of. All districts awarded shall be completed with the stated period of performance. Ranger Districts consist of Missoula Ranger District, Ninemile Ranger District, and Seeley Ranger District.
