Specifications include, but are not limited to: CONTRACTOR will provide locum tenens staffing services, on an as needed basis, to be determined by UDC’s Clinical Services Bureau Administrator or designee. UDC Clinical Services staff will review resumes of suggested individuals, references and conduct interviews either by telephone or in-person prior to any commitment. Need is anticipated to be part time with no guarantee regarding the number of hours per week. Process for Requesting Staffing Services UDC Clinical Services staff will announce their need by sending an email to the CONTRACTORS. The email will detail UDC's specific staffing need (e.g. number of hours, schedule, anticipated duration, etc.) along with a deadline (date and time) for responding, based on the current need. Staffing agencies will respond via an email reply providing a resume, credentials, references, and availability of potential staffing candidate(s). Responses received after the deadline will not be considered. UDC will review potential staffing candidates, verify credentials, and conduct interviews to select the most qualified, best fitting candidate for the current need. UDC has the right to reject any individuals so presented. This process will be used to fill each staffing service need within the contract parameters. When a staffing agency is selected to provide staffing service, they will be excluded from the next offering, (unless other staffing services do not have a qualified candidate, then UDC can utilize the previous staffing agency). This is in accordance with State Purchasing requirements to provide an opportunity for all CONTRACTORS to participate in multiple award contracts. UDC Contract Monitor will maintain documentation of each request, all responses, and the resulting selection. Semi-annual monitoring will occur to ensure multiple CONTRACTORS are being utilized.
