The purchase and delivery of the RFeye Spectrum Maintenance hardware and software license renewal and support for the West Desert Test Center (WDTC), Data Sciences Division (DSD) covers the replacement of defective parts in the spectrum monitoring system, including associated labor costs. Under this agreement, the government identifies issues, and the contractor is responsible for removing the equipment, shipping it to repair facilities, and then reinstalling the new or repaired parts once returned. Any upgrades or updates to software and firmware are provided to the government for installation. The contractor is also obligated to offer onsite support, if necessary, for the removal, replacement, and repair of all Cambridge Radio Frequency Systems (CRFS) monitoring system components, as well as providing annual in-person training on the system.
WDTC will install software and firmware updates, as well as managing the removal, replacement, of servers, data storage, and workstations (whether physical or virtual) required to support the CRFS system. CRFS will only be onsite if required. Most hardware is plug and play and only require shipment to CRFS for replacement/repair as needed.
