Specifications include, but are not limited to: High Valley Transit is seeking managed services for two locations. The first is an existing building at 6506 N Landmark Dr, Park City, UT 84098 (Kimball Junction Transit Center). This building services a single office and lobby space of approximately 750 sq ft and requires wireless coverage for all spaces and wired coverage for the office. The second location is a new collection of buildings at 1608 Sego Lily Way, Park City, UT 84098. This includes an administrative building with space for approximately 30 employees, a maintenance building with a single office and three bus maintenance bays, and a storage building that holds 24 full-sized buses. All buildings require wireless coverage and wired coverage is required for all permanent employee workstation spaces, meeting spaces, and other shared office spaces. The system should also be capable of supporting other third-party equipment including but not limited to printers, VoIP phones, audio systems, access control systems, and IP based security cameras. There currently are no managed network or security equipment in place. All equipment will be designed and installed new according to the scope in this RFP that meets the requirements for HVT. In all cases, the Respondent will follow best-practice design as indicated by the chosen equipment manufacturer. Preliminary plans for the Sego Lily complex are copied below. Plans are not yet available for the Kimball Junction Transit Center but the building is fully built and available to tour. Work to be performed will include the following: Network Design and Installation – The MSP must install network equipment in a multi-location environment to provide wired and wireless networking services. Network Security Design and Installation – The MSP must install enterprise-grade network security to protect HVT and its assets. Network Equipment Monitoring – The MSP will provide 24x7 monitoring of all installed equipment and be able to report on metrics critical to HVT. Patch Management – The MSP must keep HVT equipment firmware up to date per the recommendations of the equipment manufacturer. Configuration Backup – The MSP should maintain a backup of all system configurations in case of disaster recovery scenario. Helpdesk Support – The MSP will provide 8x5xNBD support with acceptable SLAs for all equipment installed. This support will also include assistance with troubleshooting local issues to determine if the network equipment is at fault.
