Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of South Jordan is seeking to hire a contractor to complete the design and construction of a float to be used during the summer of 2022 in parades such as the SoJo Summerfest, Days of ’47 and other Salt Lake Valley parades. 1. Theme The float will be designed and constructed utilizing a theme determined by the City as a result of discussion and consultation with the selected contractor. Float must meet current theme and participation requirements of the Days of ’47 parade. 2. Chassis a. The City of South Jordan will provide the chassis. b. Frame to Ground – 16.5 inches c. Rear Width – 10 feet 8 inches d. Length – 32 feet 3. Estimated Float Size a. 30 to 35 feet in length b. 8 to 11 feet in width c. No greater than 14 feet high
