Assembled units with component parts of several manufacturers will not be acceptable with the exception that minor items such as terminal blocks, test switches, wiring, and other similar items may be manufactured by others. 2.2 GENERAL A. This Specification applies to three-phase, group-operated, 60-Hz, fully dead-front sectionalizing pad-mounted switchgear. Switchgear shall be designed, tested, and built per ANSI/IEEE C37.74 standards. The vacuum fault interrupter shall meet applicable sections of ANSI/IEEE C37.60. B. Insulating Liquid: Biodegradable E200 fluid. C. Provide units with the circuit arrangements as shown on the one-line diagram at the end of this Section. 2.3 OPERATING CONDITIONS A. Altitude not greater than 3,000 feet above sea level. B. Ambient temperature: Minus 30 degrees C minimum, 40 degrees C maximum. C. Equipment shall be fully rated without derating for these operation conditions. D. Equipment suitable for 34,500-volt, three-phase, four-wire grounded electrical system. E. Complete with self-supporting enclosure for elbow connected encased components.
