Services may include, but are not limited to: Coordination with Uintah County Municipal Building Authority (MBA) and the appointed Project Management Team throughout all phases of the project. Geotechnical investigation to support foundation and drainage design. Civil and site engineering, including surveying, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility connections, and site access. Design development for the building, including plans for floor layout, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and insulation in accordance with all applicable codes. Architectural services shall be included as needed, with the Engineer determining whether a licensed architect is required. Structural engineering for foundations and footings, to be completed after the metal building supplier is selected and final loads and anchor bolt requirements are provided. Structural design for the building superstructure is expected to be provided by the metal building manufacturer. Preparation of construction documents and specifications at the 30%, 60%, 90%, and final submittal stages, as well as construction-phase services, including review of the original RFI and all related modifications. Preparation of all documents necessary for bidding and technical assistance during the bidding process, with Uintah County Municipal Building Authority (MBA) administering the bid. The selected firm will work with the Uintah County Municipal Building Authority (MBA) to prepare the subsequent construction RFP and project specifications. As a result of this role, the selected firm and any affiliated entities will be ineligible to submit a proposal for the future construction RFP. Design preparation in a manner that allows the Uintah County Municipal Building Authority (MBA) the option to license the design for a future project. The selected firm shall provide comprehensive engineering services for the entire duration of the construction project, including all required oversight, support, and consultation following completion and delivery of the engineered plans.
