Specifications include, but are not limited to: Product Transportation- The vendor must have refrigerated transportation services that comply with all HACCP and ServSafe criteria to ensure the safety and quality of the produce. Produce Grade – produce must be XF/GRADE #1 or better as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture, unless otherwise specified in this solicitation. Provide 15,000 servings daily of a pre-packaged 3/4 cup vegetable cup with ¼ cup of the three different vegetables in the same cup with lid with the same amount for each vegetable for the two options listed. The breakdown is essential for crediting; must have ¼ cup of each vegetable in the same cup or sealed pouch. The cups must meet the USDA NSLP Meal pattern requirements for both the daily vegetable subgroup requirement of ¾ cup, as well as meet the weekly requirement when served. We will accept a cup with lid or sealed bag or pouch. Must provide both options. Option 1, MWF, Broccoli (Florets), Carrots Baby (Slim), Grape Tomato. Option 2, T,TH Jicama Sticks, Red Pepper (Sliced), Edamame (Shelled). These products will be finger food for dipping, diced should be ½” in size not smaller or strips. This will be a contract for the summer meal program.
