Specifications include, but are not limited to: PCMC, by and through its Finance & IT Departments, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the submission of proposals from qualified firms capable of satisfying the City’s needs for software and professional services to implement an ERP software system. The City plans to replace its current ERP system environment with a new integrated design and adopt system functionality to support core processes. In doing so, the City seeks to address several challenges in the current environment and meet specific goals and objectives in a potential future environment. • Consolidate information, link processes and functions, and eliminate separate departmental systems in favor of a single solution that connects the City’s financial and non-financial applications through a common database • Streamline business processes to take advantage of best practices through automation, integration and workflows • Eliminate or reduce the need for manual or redundant input • Improve reporting capabilities and access to data through inquiry or drill down capabilities • Provide interface capabilities with third-party systems (For example, Brightly, ADP, CentralSquare, CityWorks, etc.)
