Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.This Scope of Work outlines the collaboration between Weber State University (WSU) and Tech-Moms to deliver career pathways programming in accordance with the Strengthening Community Colleges (SCC4) grant awarded to WSU from the US Department of Labor (DOL). 2. Tech-Moms Deliverables and Responsibilities • Key Deliverables: o Recruiting and registration of students for career pathways training, minimally 160 students over the period of the grant (May 2024-July 2028), with an intent to run at least two cohorts per year at 20 students each. TechMoms has a robust pipeline of students looking for foundational tech training, as well as for 2.0 programs (such as cybersecurity, data analytics, and program management), that will help them get jobs after long absences from the workforce. o Recruiting of Instructors, and collaborative creation of curriculum for training programs, leading to the creation of Open Education Resources (OER) that satisfy the DOL grant requirements. Their instructors are working with WSU to deliver quality courses that help students attain credentials, including CompTIA Security+ 701, CAPM from PMI, as well as microcredentials from Weber State. The new course curriculum is being licensed with a CC BY creative commons license and will be published for use by other organizations and institutions.
