Educational Control Products (ECP) is the sole manufacturer of the specific torsional disk and rectilinear motion control systems required for UVU's College of Engineering and Technology controls and system dynamics courses and laboratory. While other instructional vendors offer general-purpose control trainers or simulationbased platforms, none provide the same combination of physical system fidelity, modularity, and integrated hardware/software architecture necessary to meet UVU's instructional and accreditation needs. ECP systems offer uniquely configurable torsional and rectilinear mechanical platforms that allow students to physically modify inertia, stiffness, damping, and mass parameters. These systems are specifically designed for advanced controls education and enable experiments in system identification, classical and modern control, vibration analysis, and real-time feedback control. The hardware integrates seamlessly with ECP’s proprietary control software, which supports real-time data acquisition, controller implementation, and repeatable experimentation.
