Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Tear off existing roofs and dispose of debris in a dumpster to landfill. • Inspect sheathing for any dry rot or delamination. • Inspect sheathing for sufficient nailing. • Advise the City if there is any sheathing needed and eliminate turtle vents and patch roof. • Install pre-painted drip and rake flashing on the perimeter of each building. • Install ice and water shield in all valleys and at all gutter edges, per Utah building codes and shingle manufacturer requirements for snow zones. • Extend the ice and water shield ¾” – 1” past the drip flashing as required by all shingle manufacturer installation specs. • Install synthetic felt on the balance of the roof, lapping it at the hips and ridges. • Install green color of metal standing seam roofing panels. Secure the panels to the roof using approved screws in a pattern established by the manufacturer. • Install pre-painted L-metal flashings and roof to wall flashings as needed. • Install new metal ridge on the hips and ridges. Secure using rubber grommet screws. • Install gable siding including flashings and trims at Browns Meadow Park, Sunset Cove, Stone Creek West, Jordan Meadows, Noble Heights install flashings and trim, BUT no gable siding at Dorilee and Brigadoon. • Cleanup of area adjacent to roofing removal and installation. • Repair any damaged landscape from project staging.
