Specifications include, but are not limited to: This schedule itemizes, by frequency, the tasks expected in the regular cleaning of the facilities, and is the minimum acceptable performance. Changes in the frequency, or days, of performance shall be made by mutual agreement and in writing with the State Representative. Duties :( Including holidays, except when closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years days -Work will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.) Due to location, daily cleaning is not necessary or feasible. The times that they are here to clean need to be consistent, so the Port employees know how to work around the cleaning process. The Port needs to have contractor to be here when we are at 06:00 AM or as close to the a.m. time if possible this is most convenient since there are fewer people present and it is easier to clean at the time. Vacuum all carpets to edge and under desks. (Note: Do not vacuum or clean in communications room unless instructed to do so by the State Representative.) Vacuum or sweep all walk off and outdoor mats. Sweep and mop. Spot clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces removing fingerprints, smudges and stains, including doors, door frames, pull, pushes, light switches, etc. Spot clean hallway and restroom walls, including removal of graffiti. Clean and polish drinking fountains. (Note: If there are maintenance problems, confer with the State Representative to resolve the issues.) Clean and sanitize restroom toilets, sinks, urinals, floors, walls, mirrors, showers and partitions. Wash and polish all mirrors, shelves, chrome, bright surfaces, enameled surfaces, etc., including piping, handles and toilet seat hinges. Refill toilet tissue holders, soap dispensers, and towel dispensers and check function. Keep drains clean by adding water or drain cleaner as directed by the State Representative. Empty all trash from containers, including cast concrete containers into dumpster. Replace all trashcan liners every Monday, Wednesday, Friday or as needed. Keep area around trash dumpster clean. Clean Windows and counters in the drivers lobby. Vacuum employees entry area. Dust employee work counters and desks as instructed by the State Representative. Clean both sides of all glass doors and frames.
