Specifications include, but are not limited to: Falling Weight Deflectometer with an Integrated Ground Penetrating Radar Test System. UDOT is currently looking to replace its Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), system; they are requesting bids on a trailer mounted FWD system with an integrated truck mounted Ground penetrating radar, Global Positioning System Locator (GPS), Distance Measuring Instrument (DMI), and all associated components for installation, operation and integration. The FWD will be used for nondestructive testing of roadways and recording of data to aid in the decision making of roadway condition. The FWD unit provided shall be easily removed from towed vehicle by means of quick disconnect couplings and plugs, no tools should be needed to disconnect trailer. UDOT will provide the tow vehicle to the winning bidder to allow for the complete installation of the trailer mounted FWD and GPR equipment along with any related components. The specifications provided are meant to be a guide as to the quality and standard minimum expected but may not be all-inclusive. It is expected that the manufacture will include any necessary items needed but not specifically listed.
