Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Contractor shall provide a full range of Gates brand (or approved equal) hydraulic hose products and fittings for City’s Fleet Management Division on an “as needed” basis. All parts shall be from the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Contractor may also supply other brands of related hose products, parts, and supplies as specified on Exhibit “B”. B. Contractor shall provide all related tooling, dies and training for the hose and fitting products specified at no additional cost to City. C. Contractor shall have a supply facility within approximately ten (10) miles of the City’s Fleet Management Shops located at 1990 West 500 South in Salt Lake City Utah, to respond to emergency or special orders for critical equipment such as fire trucks, snowplows and packers. Contractor shall make custom replacement hose with fittings as per sample provided by City and provide hose by the foot or inch with fittings as requested. D. Contractor shall reference an order number assigned by the City, on all order tickets and/or invoices. E. Contractor shall require the City employee to show a City identification card when the employee picks-up a will-call order. City employees shall be required to print their name and sign the ticket or invoice for parts received.
