The Grantsville City WWTP is located at 900 Race Street, Grantsville, Utah 84029. The plant is owned and operated by Grantsville City. The plant receives and treats domestic, commercial, and industrial wastewater generated within the City’s collection system. The plant produces secondary disinfected water that is discharged into the Blue Lakes basin that is located adjacent to the WWTP site. This equipment procurement is part of a design to replace the existing WWTP with a new activated sludge process. The new WWTP will consist of a headworks (screening and grit removal), biological nutrient removal basins (anaerobic and anoxic chambers), fine bubble aeration basins, secondary clarifiers, UV disinfection, and solids handling/dewatering facilities. All equipment will be installed in new buildings and structures. Design of new buildings and structures will be tailored in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the selected equipment manufacturers. The intent of this proposal is to obtain competitive pricing from qualified vendors for furnishing and delivery of the following pieces of equipment to meet specifications herein: • Item #1 – 6 MM Influent Screens & Screenings Washer/Compactors • Item #2 – Grit Removal System • Item #3 – Grit Washer System • Item #4 – Aeration Basin Blowers • Item #5 – Secondary Clarifier Mechanisms • Item #6 – UV Disinfection System • Item #7 – Sludge Dewatering Equipment Suppliers need not submit on all equipment to be considered. However, any additional discounts or benefits that may be offered if multiple Bid Items are awarded to the same vendor or supplier should be noted in the Exceptions sheet for consideration.
