Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation – Golf Department (Golf), currently has the Lightspeed Point of Sale (POS). Lightspeed has allowed Cayan/TSYS as a payment gateway to connect with Chase Paymentech as the credit card payment processor. This is integrated, but not fully integrated. Lightspeed Commerce has now fully integrated Lightspeed Payments to form a fully integrated platform, and no longer offers options of other payment processing solutions. Lightspeed Commerce Inc. is the Supplier for Lightspeed POS and Lightspeed Payments. Golf's current point of sale software consists of Lightspeed Retail (R-series), Lightspeed Golf (Chronogolf), and Lightspeed LoyalAction (Gift Card/Customer Credit). If payment processing is not compatible with Lightspeed software, integrated payment processing is not possible. The Lightspeed Commerce Retail POS and Lightspeed Payments are now fully integrated as one platform. This will bring Golf's credit card payment processing under one fully integrated platform. Lightspeed Customers who continue to process payment transactions though another payment processing service will be assessed an additional monthly fee based on the Customers estimated average monthly transaction volume. This service can no longer be reasonably modified to allow for competition. Lightspeed Payments is now fully integrated with Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) as one platform.
