Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of Logan requires an enterprise content management, imaging and workflow solution that provides functionality for document image capture, indexing, storage, retrieval, display and distribution (via print, fax or e-mail). The solution must include integrated workflow software that provides easily implemented automation of document-centric work processes. Specifically, City of Logan requires integration with Innoprise Software Inc., which is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that runs on Microsoft Windows Servers and Microsoft SQL database. Innoprise provides most mission critical applications for Logan City, including, financials, accounting, purchasing, payroll, inventory, utility billing, planning and zoning, business licensing, etc. Innoprise applications use browser based interfaces. Integration of Innoprises browser interfaces, as well as all other current and future business applications is a requirement. - Integration means that information appearing on city application screens can automatically be pulled and used as index values to retrieved documents from the document management system with one click or one simple function. It also means that duplicate data entry is not necessary to get index values from city application screens into the document management system, or from the document management system into Innoprise. - Innoprise Software Inc. is located in Broomfield, Colorado. Innoprise applications are written in Java and are designed to be open and integrate with other software solutions through the use of Java APIs or platform-neutral Web Services. - Each vendor must explain how this integration with Innoprise is to be accomplished and who will be responsible for each step. - City of Logan also desires integration with other third-party applications. State whether the purposed solution has an option for embeddable clients which can add document management system functions to the interfaces of other third-party applications, and specifically Microsoft Office. - Integration with business applications ideally will be accomplished using minimal, if any, programming. The integration approach must not require modification to our existing application systems or databases.
