Specifications include, but are not limited to: Eagle Mountain City is seeking qualified consultation service to design a wastewater tertiary treatment system intended to treat the existing wastewater effluent to a type 1 quality by adding disinfection and filtration. In a recent evaluation of alternatives conducted by JWO Engineering of possible filtrations recommended disc style filtration to accommodate the City’s needs. When the reuse water was first brought online to the city system, the irrigation system began to get clogged due to algae growth in the winter storage ponds. To help resolve this issue the City has installed filtration on the pump station for the system. However, the City desires to add algae control to help provide added protection for possible maintenance concerns. A recent study conducted by Carollo Engineering recommended a copper sulfate dosing system. To accommodate these facilities, the City would prefer to construct one structure that could house each of these components to reduce the overall footprint required.
