Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Plan, and produce the annual demolition derby in the West Jordan Rodeo Arena that will attract a crowd, be family-friendly and entertaining. a. Solicit drivers and avoid other racing conflicts. b. Solicit sponsors. c. Provide the required staff to run the event and races, limiting back gate entrance to one driver and two pit crewmembers. d. Provide timing gear, flags, computers, and all necessary equipment. e. Provide adequate tow trucks on site for towing of vehicles between each heat. f. Provide oversight for the preparation of the derby area. 2. Promote the event to attract both spectators and competitors. a. Provide a website that contains the information for the event. b. Post event information on other web and social media sites. c. Exhibit the ability to brainstorm and make suggestions to enhance the event and draw larger crowds and a more memorable event
