Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide a 80,000 sq. ft. University of Utah Health owned facility, that will provide crisis mental health services in an appropriate setting, and as an alternative to emergency department care. The project scope will consist of a licensed “I-2” hospital occupancy building to include a 30-chair receiving center, a 24-bed acute stabilization unit, mobile outreach team space, administration and staff support, and pharmacy and lab services. It will be located on a nine-acre parcel at 3300 South, between 900 West and 1000 West. Given the schedule, complexity and quality expectations of the project, the project team desires to engage with a number of Buckling-Restrained Brace (BRBs) Suppliers.
