Specifications include, but are not limited to: Full depth reconstruct of 3900 S from 2300 E to I-215. The project includes the addition of curb, gutter, and sidewalk in locations that do not currently have it. The roadway will be a 3-lane section with a bike lane along both sides of the road. Utility adjustments, relocations and new portions of storm drain system will be added. Intersection improvements will include upgraded signal modifications and the addition of a HAWK and overhead school crossing. The project will also include landscaping, xeriscaping, and tree plantings in the park strips. The consultant will provide all of the services of a construction management firm as found in the UDOT Construction Manual of Instruction and FHWA requirements including Buy America. The consultant will also provide Materials testing as outlined in the appropriate UDOT Materials Manual of Instruction, Minimum Sampling and Testing Requirements and all other applicable manuals and Quality Management Plans and requirements currently used by the UDOT. The consultant will provide prompt materials testing results back to the contractor. The consultant will serve as the Resident Engineer for the project. The consultant will be responsible for collecting and administering all project construction management documentation throughout the project duration. The consultant will enter all project documentation into the UDOT Projectwise, PDBS, and Masterworks systems. The consultant must interpret project Plans, Specifications, and UDOT Standards. The consultant will oversee a safe working environment and safe travel corridor. The consultant must coordinate with stakeholders, other projects, utilities, local entities, UDOT personnel, and federal entities to accomplish tasks.
