Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a “lop and scatter” contract. All pinyon, rocky mountain juniper, Utah juniper (Cedar), shall be cut. 100% Removal. Trees shall be completely severed from the stump(s) where no live limbs shall be left on the stump of cut trees. All main branches or stems shall be cut from the trunk of the tree to meet scattering requirements. Existing islands associated within the chained and or treated areas will be left in tacked. Some islands may be thinned leaving larger mature trees as cover. This will be identified by flagging and or verbal communication as per project manager. In the White Horse Pasture Treatment Area, a boundary line will be cut to install a fence, this line will be cut thirty feet (30 feet) and all trees and limbs will need to be removed or pulled back from this cut line. All methods pertaining to the Cutting Specifications are to be followed as outlined in SOW. In the Sauls Meadow Treatment Area, all trees <20” DRC will need to be completely removed, all Cutting Specifications are to be followed as outlined in SOW.
