Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Disposal 1. All refuse removal is to be taken to an approved landfill. All landfill fees will be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR. 2. The CONTRACTOR shall dispose of all waste in an approved landfill. Waste removed from the prison shall not contain any hazardous, toxic, or radioactive waste or any substance that violates federal and state laws or regulations. B. Collection Schedule 1. CONTRACTOR will collect waste between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. except for Christmas and New Year’s Day. If a collection day falls on the holiday, collection will be made the first business day following the holiday. 2. Time of collection will be strictly adhered to. If refuse collection is not completed within the allotted time, the truck and its driver will remain on compound until an accounting of inmates occurs. CONTRACTOR will not be reimbursed for time lost during that time due to non-compliance of the collection schedule. 3. Scheduled day pickup will be determined between CUCF and CONTRACTOR and is estimated to be three times weekly. C. Containers Attachment D contains a summary list of containers and the collection schedule currently in use at CUCF. 1. CONTRACTOR shall deliver initial shipment of startup containers at no cost. 2. CUCF may revise the number and or size of trash containers or require additional containers long term or on a short-term temporary basis upon notification to the CONTRACTOR. 3. Revisions will be subject to the agreed upon exchange or delivery rates. These containers will be provided and emptied at the same rate quoted for those containers used regularly at CUCF
