Specifications include, but are not limited to: Iron County along with the Dixie National Forest Service, Kane County, UDOT, Utah Outdoor Recreation Division, Tread Lightly, and other interested parties have designed a plan for winter recreation parking adjacent to SR 14 near the two county boarders. The project when complete will allow winter recreation enthusiasts sites to park for motorized and non-motorized activities. The designated parking areas will reduce winter hazards of parking along the highway shoulder and further the winter sports enjoyment. The scope of work will include, but not be limited to, the following functions: Contractor is responsible for all measurements to determine material quantities. Contractor is responsible to transport and disposal of all excess asphalt. Meet and work with Iron County/Forest Service representatives to determine and meet the objectives of the project. Any changes to project or products being used from bid documents will need to be approved, in writing, by Iron County. There shall be nothing implied in the project that indicates future work for the awarded contractor beyond the scope of this single project. The Forest Service has applied and received an Access and Encroachment Permit for Traffic Control. The Contractor shall be responsible for implementing traffic control and to comply with the approved access and encroachment permit. Successful bidder must be able to complete the work in the time that has been set. Provide a copy of the company’s Utah State Contractors license number. Provide a copy of the company’s or individual’s business license. Provide proof of liability insurance two million (2,000,000) minimum. Provide evidence of Worker’s Compensation.
