Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: strip felling services. Felling shall be accomplished throughout the identified treatment unit. This task order includes the Contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals. Work under this Contract is located on the Monroe Mountain, southeast of Manning Reservoir, in Piute County, Utah. The legal location of the treatment units is Township 27 South, Range 2 West, Sections 7, 8 and 17. Township 27 South Range 3 West, Section 12. The work location is shown on the attached vicinity and treatment unit maps. Elevations range from 9,300 feet to 10,100 feet within the project area. All live conifer trees and conifer saplings less than 16” DBH within areas shown on the treatment unit map will be cut/fell. Shape files of the individual flagged lines and hand thinning unit boundary will be provided to be loaded on a GPS receiver up on request. If requested, it will be the contractor’s responsibility to provide a GPS that is capable of loading treatment units from a computer. Vehicle travel is limited to designated routes; off road/trail vehicle travel is prohibited.
