Specifications include, but are not limited to: Blackboard Inc. – Ally by Blackboard is accessibility software that is used by all schools in the UEN -Utah Higher Education system (SLCC, Snow, SUU, U of U, USU, UVU, Utah Tech, Weber). We plan to run an RFP in the spring of 2023 to have a new 5-year contract for accessibility software that runs with the school and fiscal year (June 30-July 1) like all of our other software contracts. It is not feasible due to time and monetary restraints for the schools to onboard another program mid school year. The current agreement can be extended 6 months to allow for the RFP selection and contract alignment. The University proposes using Blackboard Ally for six months for compatibility of the software system to allow time to complete an RFP.
