The Jordan Basin Improvement District (OWNER) invites interested contractors to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for the construction of the Jordan Basin Improvement District Ballard Medical SSO Project. SOQs will be used to determine which contractors are qualified to bid on this project. Bids will only be accepted from those contractors that are prequalified by the OWNER. SSMH 18700 at approximately 11950 South and Lone Peak Parkway, adjacent to the Jordan & Salt Lake City Canal, experienced a sanitary sewer overflow (SSO), which was the result of a broken piece of grout causing backup from within the trough. The slopes and connectivity on the sewer pipes to/from the manholes in the area are problematic. This project aims to address the causes of the SSO by replacing and reconfiguring the alignment through trenchless pipe installation methods.
