Burton Elementary Remodel and Re-Roof

Willmeng Construction, acting as the Construction Manager for Davis School District, is requesting turn-key bids for the construction of the Burton Elementary Remodel & Re-Roof. This project will be constructed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by MHTN Architects.
Bid Proposals shall be submitted on or before November 18, 2025 @ 12 pm Prevailing Mountain Time. All proposals shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided in Building Connected. Please attach any desired or necessary bid backup to the bid form.
Pricing is to be per the construction schedule found within the Building Connected files.
A Prebid meeting will be held at Burton Elementary on Wednesday, November 5th at 10:00 AM. This meeting is not mandatory but is highly recommended for the following trades: Roofing, Framing and Mechanical. It is encouraged for all other subcontractor trades to attend.
Awarded Subcontractors may be required to furnish a P&P Bond.

Time is of the essence for this project. Refer to the Bid Documents for specific schedule and liquidated damage requirements.
Inasmuch as the Owner is a political subdivision of the State of Utah, all trades on the project must certify by affidavit, prior to commencing any work on the project, that they will participate in a Status Verification System to verify the work eligibility status of its new employees in accordance with Section 63G-11-103 Utah Code Annotated.
Any award or rejection, in whole or in part, relating to this project is contingent upon budget restraints. Refer to the Bid Documents for Proposal Guidelines.
The Owner and Construction Manager reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to accept or reject any or all proposals or alternates, with or without cause, if deemed to be in the Owner’s best interest. They also reserve the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding process. Proposals shall be properly executed upon the Bid Form with all items filled out. The completed form shall be without deletions, alterations, or erasures.
Prior to submitting a proposal, bidders are required to thoroughly review the plans, project manual, all addenda, and all other bid documents. It is highly recommended that all bidders visit the project site to become fully informed of existing conditions and any potential limitations. Proposals shall include all costs necessary to complete the work as described in the bid documents within the specified time frame.
Securing Documents: Plans and specifications will be available to interested parties no earlier than October 29, 2025. Plans can be viewed online on the Building Connected website Contact Westin Erekson at (801)-787- 3396 or werekson@willmeng.com to receive an invite to view the project bid documents.
Contractor’s Qualification Statement: Any bidder shall be willing to, upon request, submit a Contractor’s Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305. Failure to show a statement satisfactory to the Owner will be a reason to reject the proposal as non-responsive.
