Specifications include, but are not limited to: This item shall consist of the preparatory work and operations in mobilizing for beginning work on the project, including, but not limited to those operations necessary for the movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to the Project Site, and for the establishment of temporary offices, building facilities, utilities safety equipment and first aid supplies, sanitary and other facilities as required by these Specifications, and local laws and regulations. The costs of bond and any required insurance and other pre-construction expenses necessary for the start of the work, excluding the cost of construction materials, shall also be included in this Section. This item shall be on a lump sum basis invoiced as per the following schedule: Partial payments for “Mobilization” will be made with the first and second partial pay estimates paid on the contract and will be made at the rate of 50 percent of the lump sum price for “Mobilization” on each of these partial pay estimates.
