The Virgin Islands Port Authority is requesting bids from licensed experienced contractors to provide landscaping maintenance once a month and on an as-needed basis to produce and maintain healthy and aesthetically pleasing lawn care services at its Enighed Pond and Gravel Lot Facility in St. John, Virgin Islands as depicted in the below map. In order to present the best possible experience for the Virgin Islands Port Authority, community, and visitors the successful contractor will be required to perform the following: • At least One monthly cleaning will be required. Unless additional services are requested by Virgin Islands Port Authority. This includes Grass Cutting, Trimming Services as well as the removal of dead trees and foliage, garbage, and debris. • Includes the grassed areas on the property as well as the grass along the fence line/property line. All trimming/weed removal around buildings and objects (poles, structures, etc.) to be completed as well. • All garbage, trash and debris including, grass and trees and foliage to be picked up and to be hauled away by the contractor. • Contractor to supply all equipment (lawnmower, weed trimmer, machete, etc.) and gas for equipment. This includes but is not limited to high visibility wear, googles, gloves, and boots. Road cones will be used were applicable. • Contractor to provide an onsite quality control supervisor/foreman to direct contractor personnel. The contractor will be responsible for their personnel safety as well as providing the Virgin Islands Port Authority with Payroll for each day of work conducted.
