Specifications include, but are not limited to: The respondent shall supply all chemicals, labor, supervision, transportation, tools, materials and supplies necessary for pest control services for the control and/or removal of cockroaches, ants, silverfish and other crawling insects. Pest Control Services shall be provided in accordance with the guidelines established by Federal, State and Local Government laws, rules and regulation. Extermination of rodents, termites, bees (and other species of the bee family), biting or stinging insects, such as fleas, ticks, bedbugs and flying insects, e.g., mosquitoes, moths, flies, etc shall be quoted to the respective agency for review and approval prior to the commencement of services. These services shall be billed in addition to the monthly service. INITIAL BUILDING INSPECTION: The respondent shall complete a thorough, initial inspection of each sit within ten (10) working days upon the commencement of the contractual services. The purpose of the initial inspections is for the respondent to evaluate the pest control needs of all locations and to identify problem areas and any equipment, structural features, or management practices that are contributing to pest infestations. Access to building spaces shall be coordinated with the department/agency head or designee. CALLS FOR SERVICE: The respondent shall respond only to calls from the Commissioner of the Department/Agency and/or his/her authorized representatives/designee. The respondent shall provide the services based on the scheduled day and time requested by the respective agencies/departments. Pest control services shall be scheduled to be performed on definite appointed days and in no event shall the respondent carry on work outside regular agreed upon working hours without prior approval from the respective agencies/departments. In the event of climate or weather conditions become unsuitable for work or may induce an environmental hazard, then the entire work shall be rescheduled to a date and time satisfactory to the respondent and the respective agencies/departments. The respondent shall submit for approval a proposed work schedule which shall be approved in writing by the Agency/Department Head and/or their designee. The government reserves the right to adjust the standard schedule as needed for special events and provides the respondent written advance notification.
