This project encompasses the comprehensive transformation of the existing legacy Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system to a state-of-the-art P25 digital network. This upgrade aims to significantly enhance public safety communications, improve interoperability, and ensure a reliable and secure communication platform for critical operations, especially as it pertains to emergencies. The project will adhere to the industry’s best practices, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements. See Appendices A, B, and C.
