Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Scope of Services (SOS) is for the Design, Fabrication and Delivery of a Passenger Ferry Boat on behalf of the Department of Public Works. The Department of Public Works is in need of a Contractor for the Design, Fabrication and Delivery of a Passenger Ferry Boat for the Territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands to transport passengers between the islands of St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John. Contractor may present an existing design that can accommodate the vessel characteristics listed below, with the understanding that the Contractor is responsible for making modifications to the final design as requested by Purchaser. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services described for the design, fabrication and delivery of the vessel. The Contractor will be responsible for supplying all drawings, specifications, studies and calculations needed for the design, fabrication and delivery of the ferry boat. The Contractor must be able to perform and produce a wide variety of calculations and drawings to support this project, including, but not limited to, vessel stability and hydrostatics, structural design calculations, cooling and heat load, electrical load analysis and distribution planning, piping and system layout, etc.
