Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of the rehabilitation of storm drainage improvements in the Historic Town of Frederiksted to include roadways, culverts, and other roadway features. The base contract for the design and construction of the following sites on St. Croix, Frederiksted Town (See Appendix J). The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, removing concrete pavement, pipe culverts, sidewalks, utility lines and poles, and other debris; excavating for roadways and drainage structures; placing aggregate base and asphalt concrete pavement; installing pipe culverts, headwalls, drainage inlets, sidewalks; cleaning drainage structures and reconditioning shoulders and ditches; reconstructing major culverts; placing pavement markings and signs; and adjusting, relocating, or replacing utilities. The work also includes obtaining permits, coordinating utilities, assisting in right-ofway (ROW) acquisition, installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control devices, installing and maintaining temporary traffic control devices, and other miscellaneous work.
