Specifications include, but are not limited to: This scope of work is to provide cemetery cleaning and maintenance services at all public cemeteries on St. Croix. The work includes, but is not limited to, general maintenance, cutting of bush, low hanging trees in and around the perimeter of the cemetery, removal and disposal of discarded items, as directed by an authorized representative from the Department of Public Works (DPW). The rate of pay for work shall be negotiated with the selected bidder. The work shall consist of: Cutting and weeding of grass including within any expansion joints in walkways and sidewalks; Cutting trees not marked for preservation and other woody vegetation as near to the ground surface as conventional tools or field conditions will permit; Cutting limbs of low-hanging trees that affect sight distance and overhead clearance; If storm conditions occur, immediately collecting all cut or fallen vegetation and rubbish; Clear designated areas of unattached or dead vegetation, rubbish and other obstructions.
