Specifications include, but are not limited to:– Woodrow Wilson High School - Project consists of the following; 1. Demolition and removal of the existing 1950’s and 1970’s building additions and associated foundation and infrastructure. 2. Demolition and removal of four existing portable buildings and associated infrastructure. 3. New three story building addition including Core, Art, Ceramics, Engineering, and Science Classrooms, Band / Orchestra Suite, and one story Competition Gymnasium and associated support spaces. The Competition Gymnasium and associated locker rooms will serve as the Storm Shelter for both Woodrow Wilson High School and J.L. Long Middle School. 4. Chilled Water system will serve the new classrooms, Band Hall, and corridors. It will include a new air cooled chiller, pump, Chilled Water/Hot water distribution piping, Indoor Air Handling Units, and Fan Powered/ VAV Boxes. Fan Powered & VAV Boxes to have Hot Water Coils. The Hot Water will be provided by the existing Hot Water Boiler. The Gym, Locker Rooms, Weight Room, Coach office, and Training Room to be served by independent RTU’s. 5. Upgrades to the existing Auditorium including new removable orchestra pit, maintenance and partial replacement of stage rigging system, replacement of color wash striplight, repair and replacement of stage light circuit distribution, replacement of sound system, and refurbishment of existing wood first floor seating. 6. Replace / upgrade existing building fire alarm system to comply with current applicable building and life safety codes. 7. Civil grading, storm drain and fire line, modifications to existing utilities, concrete paving and curb at service drive and fire lane, and asphalt patch of existing parking drive lanes. 8. Tree mitigation, sod and associated irrigation – J. L. Long Middle School - Project consists of the following: 1. New two story (22) Classroom, Band / Orchestra Suite & Support Area Building Addition and associated building and site infrastructure. 2. Addition and installation of new ADA compliant chair lift at existing stage area. 3. Drinking Fountain Replacement at boys and girls existing Athletic Locker Areas. 4. Demo and Removal of 10 Existing Portable buildings and associated infrastructure. 5. Removal / Salvage and Relocation of existing 40'x40' fabric shade structure, site furniture and associated infrastructure. 6. Select re-grading of part of the existing landscape areas along west end of north existing court yard to improve drainage to existing and new catch basins and associated storm drainage infrastructure. 7. Demo and replacement of existing concrete retaining walls, steps, sump / area drain and drain inlet at existing cafeteria entrance to prevent storm water intrusion into cafeteria and provide a new Accessible entrance. 8. Replace / upgrade existing building fire alarm system to comply with current applicable building and life safety codes. 9. Expansion of existing Cafeteria area into part of the adjoining band / orchestra classroom areas and interior renovation of the remaining existing band / orchestra areas into two (2) new core classrooms and storage areas. 10. Misc. finish renovations of existing cafeteria area due to expansion of cafeteria.
