Specifications include, but are not limited to: DME is seeking proven vendor that have a commercially available, utility grade weather forecasting service. DME is not interested in service that are either “in‐development” or unproven. The respondent submission shall accurately describe their understanding of the objectives and scope of one or more of the requested product and service. The respondents shall clearly specify which service or services they are bidding on and provide an outline of how the bidder will meet the requirements of the scope of work/service requested. For the additional component of probability forecasting, recognizing different vendors may have varying solutions or none at all, DME would prefer a separate breakout out pricing and availability of such probability of forecast components, in order not to disqualify a vendor response that is unable to provide the probability component. The respondent will not be penalized or awarded higher, if the response is for one forecasting service or a combination of services, including all services. It is anticipated that the scope of service will include, at a minimum, the following: a) Total cost of the weather forecasting service (3 Year term, total cost and by year) b) Required implementation time c) Short on‐site or web‐ex demonstration of forecasting service d) Mandatory 2‐week free trial of all services quoted e) Meet minimum technical specification outlined below f) Provide for user requested imperial (US standard) and metric values in weather data
