New 18*18” ceramic floor tile must match existing PD lobby floor as much as possible. • Remove, replace, or overlay vct tile with ceramic tile flooring in designated areas: main PD hallway, squad room, squad room offices, and crime lab room. • Bid must provide two cost options: one option for complete removal of current vct and a second option to overlay vct with ceramic floor tiles. • Floor tile must fit wall to wall, not obstruct use of doorways, or create a step down or up. • Schleuter edge or ramps installed for doors adjacent to new tile flooring. • New baseboards or edging installed for hallways and rooms adjacent to the new tile floor. • Evidence room door and armory room door must be grinded or cut to fit over new tile floor. • Furniture moved out by vendor during install and moved back in when finished. • No additional costs allowed after bid.
