A site visit was conducted on December 7th. The following are answers to questions asked during the site visit:
On the site visit, the following questions were asked.
Question 1 : Is the UPH Rec. room and theater included in the scope?
Answer: As per the SOW, it is not included.
Question 2: Are the water fountains included in the warehouse?
Answer: Yes, in section 3.1.2, water fountains are to be cleaned 3 times a week in the effective area.
Question 3: What is the square footage of the admin conference room?
Answer: 2800 sqft (Tech Exhibit 2 updated)
Question 4: Can we get a number of exterior windows that are to be cleaned
Answer: Yes. Technical Exhibit 3 has been included into the scope to identify windows cleaned in January and June.
Notes: All technical exhibits have been updated to include Technical exhibit 3. PWS has been revised to version 8DEC2021. Changes to 3.1.1 LOS Classification and 3.1.2 Cleaning Frequencies have been updated to clarify redundancies. All proposals should reflect Revised updates of 8 DEC 2021 dated on cover pages.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and no other solicitation document will be issued.
Contractors shall provide a quote for Janitorial Services for USCG Base Galveston. This in accordance with the attached Scope of Work (SOW).

Evaluation Process: Lowest Price.
The lowest price quote will be evaluated on lowest price. If it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made. If it is found to be unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified; not all offers will be evaluated.
52.237-1: Site visit
Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
52.204-7 System for Award Management
(b) (1) An Offeror is required to be registered in SAM when submitting an offer or quotation, and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.
