Specifications include, but are not limited to: Structural Repair work on Existing Pre-Cast Concrete Floor System, using an appropriate structural remediation option like concrete, steel or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Products system (CFRP) as determined during the design. The Structure will be accessed from the crawlspace below the building. Existing plumbing piping and conduit in the crawl must be removed and reinstalled to provide the needed repairs on the pre-cast members. Existing entry access points and ventilation grills shall be enlarged for improved worker access, and access for equipment and material for the repair work. Re-grade the crawlspace beneath the building per civil drainage plan; and around the building perimeter to reduce runoff water intrusion. Included also is the repair and supplementing of existing drainage system serving the crawlspace to capture leaks/runoff and ground water. Project will also include the abatement of asbestos in the soil of the crawlspace where piping insulation has deteriorated and peeled off, with an option of encapsulating the ACM by a new concrete floor slab can also be considered for remediation (Testing/monitoring by Owner). Additional work may include the mold remediation as needed inside the building.
