Specifications include, but are not limited to: The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for a project that will increase the peak flow capacity from 77.5 MGD to 95 MGD through the means of improvements to the Aeration Basins and Secondary Clarifiers, improvements to the outfall area, construction of a new Blower Building, new UV Disinfection Facility, new Cloth Media Disk Filter Facility, new Non-Potable Water Pump Station, new Solids Handling Facility, new Sodium Hypochlorite Facility, new Ferric Sulfate Feed Facility, replacement of an influent junction box, and increasing pumping capacity at pump/lift stations. Demolition or modification of existing structures will be made in order to construct some of the improvements at the site, as well as implementation of temporary facilities/processes during construction. The OPCC for this project is between $143,500,000 – $144,700,000.
