Specifications include, but are not limited to: Seeking a project management scheduling solution that could replace Microsoft Project and all the capabilities currently utilized within that application (e.g., project management of plans, schedules, tasks, work breakdown structures, milestones, costs/budgets, import & export data, etc.) 3.2Seeking a resource allocation solution that is integrated with a scheduling solution to provide the following resource capabilities: 3.2.1 Ease of use (by resources and/or manager) to enter resource available hours for a defined time period and for a specific work initiative/task 3.2.2 The ability for managers to manually assign resources to a work initiative/task 3.2.3 Automated workflows: 3.2.3.1 Automatic assignment of resources to a work initiative/task (in advance) based on dynamic views of multiple resources and their availability. Austin Energy would need to be able to enable/disable this functionality as needed. 3.2.3.2 The ability for managers to request additional resources 3.2.3.3 The ability for managers to approve, reject, modify, and reassign any resource allocations for their team members 3.3Seeking a solution that has unique attribute fields that capture the following: 3.3.1 The ability to differentiate the types of work initiatives needing resource assignments (i.e., operations, projects, enhancements, one-off /unique work) 3.3.2 Rank/prioritization of a work initiative for resources to understand the priority/sequence 3.3.3 Resource specific attributes that capture experience and/or abilities of a resource and allow these attributes to be searchable by other authorized users (e.g., skillsets, certifications, prior business unit experience, other threshold criteria, etc.)
