Specifications include, but are not limited to: DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas, known as the Dallas Housing Authority announces the availability of up to 100 Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers (PBV) for Seniors-only rental housing units. This Request for Proposals (RFP) prefers high quality existing housing units for PBVs in Seniors-only developments with robust supportive services. DHA invites property owners to submit proposals. It is not necessary for a respondent to employ the services of a consultant to be awarded vouchers under this RFP. Proposals submitted in response to this RFP must: (1) be for sites/units located in DHA areas of operation; (2) request a minimum of five units for the PBV program;(3) propose to serve households with members who are age 62 and older and who qualify for HUD rental housing assistance and supportive services as described in the RFP; (4) DHA or an independent 3rd party will evaluate the quality and location of the prospective housing, the support services to be provided as well as the experience of the proposer and proposed services.
